Chiropractic Clinic — Hertford
01 — Our philosophy
We focus on identifying the underlying cause of your symptoms, not simply easing them for a while. Before any treatment begins, we take the time to understand how you move, work and sleep, and to assess what may be contributing to your discomfort.
From there, we create a treatment plan tailored to you, combining hands-on chiropractic care, sports massage therapy and targeted exercises. Our aim is to relieve your pain and support your longer-term health, reviewing your progress at every stage.
02 — The experience
Your care begins with two appointments of around half an hour each — roughly an hour in total, and both covered by the single £56 consultation fee.
You are met by name, never by a queue, and shown to a quiet room to settle into. Water and hot drinks are available while you wait — though appointments begin when they are scheduled, so you should not be waiting long.
A detailed medical history, then postural, orthopaedic and neurological assessment. Where they are medically required, we will take x-rays on site. The aim of this appointment is not to hand you an answer on the spot — it is to gather everything needed to find the root cause of the problem.
Your chiropractor reviews everything between the two appointments, so the findings are presented properly rather than rushed. We explain what the condition actually is in language that makes sense, take you through your x-rays in detail if any were taken, and set out the care plan we would recommend from here.
Once you have the full picture and are happy to go ahead, your first hands-on treatment is given in the same appointment, with movement advice to take home. Everything after that is reassessed as you progress.
What you pay for
The second appointment is not a separate charge and is not an upsell. It is part of the consultation — we simply split it in two so that the findings are given the time they deserve.
*X-rays are only taken if medically required.

Chiropractors are trained to assess, diagnose and manage conditions of the muscles, joints and spine. Select an area to see what we treat there most often.
05 — In their words
A few words from people Dr Leo has treated.
From my very first appointment I felt like Leo listened to me and understood what I was struggling with. Everyone has been really friendly and helpful and booking appointments has been really easy. I’ve had a really good experience so far and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for treatment.
Dr Leo is such a kind and caring chiropractor — you can tell he really does care about the people he treats. He always listens and makes you feel comfortable, and I’ve noticed such a difference since starting treatment.
I’ve been seeing Leo often now and have been really happy with everything. He is very easy to talk to and always explains things properly. I actually look forward to my appointments as I always feel better and more positive afterwards.
06 — Fees
You will know the cost of your care before it begins. Every fee is published, there are no consultation add-ons, and you are never asked to commit to a block of sessions in advance.
07 — Questions
If your question is not answered here, call us — we would rather talk it through than have you wonder.
Your consultation is split across two appointments of about half an hour each. The first takes a detailed medical history and a full physical assessment, including x-rays if they are medically required. Your chiropractor then reviews everything, and the second appointment covers the findings, your care plan and your first treatment. Both are included in the £56 fee.
No. Chiropractors in the UK are primary healthcare practitioners, so you can book directly. With your permission we are always happy to keep your GP informed, and we will refer you on if we believe someone else is better placed to help.
Most people find adjustments comfortable, and many feel immediate relief. It is common to feel mild soreness for a day or so afterwards, much like after exercise. We will always explain what we are about to do, and nothing happens without your consent.
It depends entirely on the problem, how long you have had it and how your body responds. We will give you an honest estimate after your assessment and reassess as we go. You are never asked to pay for a block of sessions up front.
Comfortable clothing you can move in is ideal. You will not be asked to undress beyond what is needed for the assessment, gowns are available, and you are welcome to bring someone with you to your appointment.
Many policies cover chiropractic care. Please check the terms of your plan and let us know when you book — we will provide the receipts and treatment notes your insurer requires.
